How to get your drivers license in the Philippines?
Previously I wrote an article on how to get a student permit driver’s license. This time through research I’ll be talking about getting the non- professional license, which is the next step and should be applied within your student’s permit license.
Take note not to rely on fixers when you can do it yourself. This article may help and guide you. As a background, non-professional license is for those people who want to drive private vehicles; it usually carries the green plate and has no purpose of using this license for driving as a living.
Well, all you need to do is to head off to any LTO office in your place and be aware of this information.
Things to do before applying for this license:
Must have a student permit.
Must know how to drive. Some people get a license even if they do not know how to drive yet= this is done with help of the fixers. Don’t be one of them or your life may be at risk if you are in an accident. You’ll get yourself killed, especially as the reality is that the Philippine roads are crowded with undisciplined drivers.
Be familiar with road signs, traffic signs and keep asking questions from the person teaching you. This will give you additional knowledge when you take the exam.
Prepare some extra money for medical exam and drug test. Usually it cost 500 pesos all up.
Download online the application form beforehand. Click here http://www.lto.gov.ph/index.php/downloadable-forms
