luna parkLuna Park Trip

Took the family on a road trip to Melbourne Luna Park located in St Kilda. The family had been asking for a while now, can we visit Luna Park?, ahhh okay finally.

The Park had been closed down for years and I was never too keen once it reopened, Luna Park wasn’t the place I once knew!
I had grown up in St Kilda Located on the beach just outside Melbourne, you can read all about were I grew up here My growing up.

We finally arrived at Luna Park and I had mixed emotions, the place I once knew was full of rides and attractions for the family and excellent place we frequently visited when we were young only living a few blocks away The train carriage ride that borders the perimeter was going wow finally after 20 odd years of it being shut down it was a welcoming site.

Inside the grounds there was the Original old Carousal done up to its mighty glory the detail was perfect, the dodgem cars was still there also and the original gaming arcade. There were a few newer rides also, Well it brought out my childhood memories and was glad to visit this grand old 100 year old place. Still not quite as good as it was back in he 70’s.

Overall it was An excellent day with plenty of photos and the best was the whole family loved it. An excellent place to visit while also in Melbourne.
