GENERAL SANTOS CITY- The two week old baby was now they called the miracle baby after the mother sent him to morgue to be embalmed when suddenly they heard it crying while waiting for the embalmer. According to ABS-CBN reports, the infant was brought to the morgue by his mother last August 1, 2014 around 5pm for embalming because they thought it was already dead. Meanwhile, while waiting to be embalmed, a policeman named PO3 Jepson Corsit who was present in the morgue around 8 o’clock in the morning the following day heard that the baby cried and found out that he was breathing. The policeman immediately called the mother of the child, 24 years of age named Catherine Arcala and told that her son is alive. After that the mother rushed the baby to a public hospital to be treated. Two weeks before the incident, the mother said that they brought the baby to a private hospital because he showed signs of weakness. The doctor found out that the baby had allegedly no heartbeat and was no longer breathing but they managed to revived the infant that day. To stabilize the baby’s condition, the doctor decided to have the infant intubated and placed in an ambubag to assist him in his breathing. The doctor then suggested to the parents to keep the baby in the incubator if they want him to stay alive. The baby stayed in the hospital for 13 days and acquired a Php 100,000 total of hospital bill and the parent thought that the baby’s condition will no longer improve and thinking where to get hospital fees as it increases day by day, so the parent’s decided to take the baby home instead. While they were at home, as per parents thought that baby looked pale, weak and dead so they decided to bring him to local morgue. And as they got to the morgue, the miracle happened. The infant’s doctor in the private hospital did not declare that the baby is dead when it was taken out of the hospital by his parents.
