Wondering how to renew your passport while you are in Australia? Here are some easy ways and steps on how. If you are residing in the city it is much easier but if you are far from the city then you may have to take a quick look on the Philippine Embassy website for e mobile passport renewal mission.
As of this moment the Philippine Embassy E Passport Mission is only in Brisbane at
Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul General
126 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley, Queensland
this coming September 5, 2014. So if you haven’t booked your appointment yet better do it now.
To secure an appointment, applicant needs to mail the following documents to Philippine Embassy, 1 Moonah Place, Yarralumla, ACT 2600:
- e passport application form
- photocopy of current passport data pages
- photocopy of Australian visa
* for women changing status – copy of report of marriage or NSO marriage certificate
* for first time applicants – you need to bring NSO authenticated birth certificate
Once documents are mailed and received by Embassy, they will send you an email acknowledging receipt and tells you about the time of your appointment.
During the appointment, you need to bring your old or current passport and a postal money order with the amount of AUD 118.00 payable to Philippine Embassy. If you are paying for more than one applicant you can use only one postal money order for the total of all applicants.
Be on time on your date of appointment, based on my experienced the process is so quick and it only takes about 5 minutes and its done.
For the next mobile missions, keep an eye and keep updated on when and where it is by looking on the Philippine Embassy website so you will not missed out the e mobile passport mission in cities near you.
