How’s my Driving?
Am I ready to go? Hmmm.. still needs more practice. I am not well confident enough yet to take my drive test. For almost three years here in Australia, I am still on my L plate (learners driving license):-). Well, some people say it was just so easy to pass but my knees still got no nerves to step on and take that test I was hoping for.
The other week I was thinking of making a try to do the test just to see up to where am I and at least i will know which area should I practice more. Bill, my husband suggested that I should go to proper driving lesson first with a driving instructor, since they know more about the test for they are present every time someone takes it. In that case, I will be enlightened on what are the proper do’s and don’ts in a drive test.
Do’s and Don’ts!
Well, there it goes. I booked for a driver instructor. I met him at 9oclock in the morning and Bill dropped me off in our meeting place. I was kind a bit of nervous, wondering if he will be scolding me all the way. I embraced scolding anyway because I consider it as a way to learn. Luckily, he was not that mean. He taught me how to do a reverse parking, at first I made it perfectly crooked.(lol) ..I have no idea how to do that actually. After a couple of attempts i finally got it. We then moved on, these are some tips he told me to remember. First, in changing lane from left to right, he taught me this way which is easy to remember blinker-headcheck-mirror and never slow down unless its not safe to do so,but oh! My…it is so scary to do when your a learner. I am looking forward for my next driving lesson session, another one and I think by then I am really ready to go. Ill keep you posted how it goes. Goodluck to myself :-).
