A Great Day in Melbourne

March 28, 2014 by Michelle Leave a Comment

Exploring Melbourne city in a great weather is a very perfect time to enjoy and embrace the beauty of the place. Since the city is a 2 hours drive away from home, we need to plan ahead on where and eureka skydeck great day in melbournewhen to go.

Where to go to have a great day in Melbourne?

This time it wasn’t planned at all. We went to Melbourne to renew my passport by the mobile mission of the Philippine Embassy, the process takes quicker than I expected. Left home at around 6 o’clock in the morning, got there around 9 due to heavy traffic, and luckily finished the passport processing for only 3 minutes and done ( time for strolling). Driving around the city, went to stop for window shopping at MYER shopping mall. It was a huge place and has lots of branded shops from perfumes, to clothing and everything you wanted for fashion. A  great way to shop for pockets that are full and has plenty of budget. Next stop we went to have lunch at Crown Casino just a couple of  minutes away, have plenty of food stalls to choose from and if you have extra budget on you, you can have a quick sneak unto the casino entertainment area for some luck. The lunch was nice and were stuffed. We decided to have a look and experience on the Eureka Deck view from top. Since it was skydeck great day in Melbourneonly three blocks away from Crown, we walked and at the same time sightseeing on some of the nice views of the park and streets. They called it EUREKA DECK 88, it has 88 floors and the observation deck is on the very top story of the building. The general admission is only AUD18.50 and different prices on family package and etc. On the way to top it takes 30 seconds to reach by lift, kind of scary but it was a really great experience. There are glass walls for clear view in the observation deck, experienced the scenery of some great landmarks of Melbourne, a very nice view from the top. Another day of exploring for an expat like me, more places still to explore. Live life while were young.
